A while back, someone was talking about some sort of accumulator/cylinder that will store pressurized oil while the engine runs, and when the engine is off, if a valve is opened it release the pressure so that the engine will have full oil pressure before startup. I can't find the post anymore that was talking about it, or remember the name of the product. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I want to install one in my Land Cruiser. 205K miles and no wear on the cylinder walls, and I wanna keep it that way.

And just to keep it on the topic of slants, I'll be putting one in my girl's Dart too, once we get it restored :D

They are called an "Accusump", made by a company named Moroso. Be aware, they aren't cheap, and they do show up occasionally on Ebay.

Yeah that's the one. Found 'em on Summit too. Not nearly as bad as I thought. They have the 3 qt capacity for about 175.00. More than enough to be put on a 225 slant and a 4 liter L6. Funny, I had found a similar system a while back for aircooled VW engines that cost about 400 bucks. I have yet to find that again but I'd much rather build my own system with parts of my choice than a full setup.
