I'm closing in on putting the timing chain cover on my slant rebuild. Can't find the oil slinger and I'm not sure I ever had one. Looked through all my parts and can't find it. Not sure I ever had one. Is it necessary?

Background: Complete engine rebuild going on with new crank, pistons, all new gaskets, rings, oil pump etc etc etc.

I alway put the oil slinger in, it helps by keeping oil off the front seal and slinging it onto the timing chain.

Send me your address and I will mail you one.
