You know how it goes...do one thing, and that leads to another...while in process of putting in rear speakers on my grandson's 73 Dodge Dart 4-dr, I found the floor covering (vinyl materal) to be quite brittle and I slipped on the broken pieces so many times after the back seat was removed, that I decided it is time to upgrade. Checked the recent J.C. Whitney catalog and they have carpets for the 73, but the type and quality dumbfound me a bit. They advertise a Plush Cut Nylon type and a loop and pile type. I seem to recall getting the pile type from Legendary Interiors several years ago for a 65 Belvedere and although the quality was unsurpassed, I didn't particularly like the loop and pile look. Have you a type and brand in mind that would look good? The car is now B-5 blue with blue vinyl cloth seat covering, but the car will soon change to silver color on the outside. We'll keep the blue interior going though. Looking at the small samples JC offers, I remain confused what color would actually look good. Any help there also would be appreciated. Prices weren't too bad with the cheapest about $129.95 and the most about $149.95. |

Visit: www.accmats.com and check out the various products. They even have live help on line during normal business hours. I've also had them send samples before I bought. It's a great company to deal with. |
