Put the water temp sending unit on my neighbor's slant and it hit me that I couldn't recall installing the oil pressure sending unit. I've looked all over (at least where I can see with the header, intake, carb, a/c comp, p/s pump, and other stuff on there now). Just where is it on a 225? I've been through my 67 service manual, but it doesn't show it anywhere. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It is just below the oil filter on the filter mounting point. Kind of hard to miss it if you get under the car and look up. |

Ok, so the pressure sending unit is actually on the oil pump, and not the block itself, right? The new oil pump has a bolt coming out of the "point" that is just below the filter mounting pad. The bolt is replaced with the sending unit, correct? |
