I thought this was interesting. It's a rebuilt industrial slant six on ebay for $2995.

It costs about $2000 to do a complete rebuild and performance upgrade to a standard \6. So if you factor in the shop hours and the cost of heavy duty industrial parts, this is not that far off from reality.

Geee, If I had known they were worth that much, I would have put the old one that I found up on ebay. To bad it is now at the bottom of a landfill. I am saving a Carter TQ airdoor wrench and a Mallory advance key for my retirement. They should be worth a couple million by then.

Whether that's true or not, it doesn't mean anyone's going to give that for it.
