ok where is the most inexpensive place to order a 60 over rebuild kit for a slant 6. also what do i need to tell them when ordering. I have no idea what year model engine i will be rebuilding it is in pieces on the floor of my shop. any help will be appreciated. thanks norm |

PAW should sell a kit inexpensively. If you want a crank with the kit, you will need to tell them if it is 67-down, 68-76, or 77-up (cast). If it's 80-up it'll have hydraulic lifters and you'll have to specify that. Look on the stamping pad on the front right corner of the upper block deck for a date. Lou |

I was pleased with master rebuild kit I got from Northern Auto Parts. Just spend the extra money for the Fel-Pro gaskets. |
