Post subject:  what brake hose

i am doing the large bolt pattern disc brake swap using the f body spindles, rotors, calipers and am needing to know which brake hose to get. i have heard that it is the 73-76 hose but am not sure. the article at bigblockdart.com is not clear on what hose to get.

p.s. if anybody has the 73-76 uca w/big balljoint, i'm interested, but be warned, my wallet is extremely thin at the moment. been on a diet since i got married! :)

Which way are you facing the calibers? A stock A-body is on the front and you can use a '75 Dart brake hose. If you have the calibers toward the rear you will need a F-body brake hose and an extension on the steel line to help route the rubber hose.

Post subject:  Condran says

The Condran book says use a 73 Valiant (73-76 A body) hose
for the 73 and up slider brakes OR 80 Volare hose if 11 3/4"
rotors are being used.

The 73 Valiant hose is also specified for 76 and up pin type
calipers.

On the setups described the caliper is to be mounted at the
stock location - toward front of the car for 73 and up.

My Dart uses Aspen / Volare hoses. I'm running A-body spindles, 11.75" rotors, and rear mounted slider calipers. I was able to attach these hoses directly - I did remove a bracket that was on the hoses, but I didn't need any additionaly hardware.
