I have a 67 truck with broken 225 and three speed tranny. I want to put a mid 70's 225 in the truck .Will motor mounts be the same and can i bolt my 67 bellhousing on to the 70's. will the flywheel and clutch bolt to the 70's crank? the 70's has an automatic.any other things that might need to be addressed? Thanks Ranch guy

Engine mounting points and bolt patterns are the same.
The main issue is the crank to flywheel mounting hub, 60-67 is a small hub and 68 & up is larger. The hole in your flywheel may not fit over the hub on the 70's crank flange. ( i say may because you are right at the cut-off year so you may have the later style "big hub" crank)

Make sure to use the truck's oil pan and pick-up tube, also be sure you install a pilot bushing into the back of the crank.

OK . So it looks like at worst I would need new flywheel, And maybe new presureplate with a 67 disc or are the three speed trany splines the same in 67 and mid 70's.Thanks a million, Ranch Guy

All the clutch parts interchange.
Seeing you may have the small hub flywheel, it is possible to machine out the center locating hole to make it fit a large hub crank.
