the balncers on my motor has been wobbling for about 4 years now and i am beginning to be bothered by it. i have looked all over and haven't seen any listings for one. i know a lot of V8 parts swap over to the slant. is there a V8 balancer that fits?

Call up these folks, they rebuilt one of my dampners

Damper Dudes
5509 Cedars Rd # 2
Redding, CA 96001
(530) 244-7225

They do good work, just be careful and take a picture of what you give them. I had to return mine once because they put the timing mark in the wrong place (in relation to the keyway). Other then that they do quality work, was about $60 give or take.

Infact, if you want, I have a spare I got back from them that has been sitting collecting dust I can sell you.

Check the threads on this board; Damper Dudes' work has been...I'll just say "inconsistent".

There's a guy on eBay who rebuilds and sells \6 Dampers. I can't vouch for the quality of his work, but i did exchange e-mails with him and he was aware and articulate of the difference in timing mark between '63-'67 and '67-up slant-6 engines.

Dealing with DamperDudes is a bit of a hassle I'll deffinately agree to that, but their work is good (or at least was when I dealt with them 5+ years ago when my dampers were done). So if you can find quality work elsewhere, deffinately go that route.

I also have a pile of good used dampeners, drop me a PM if you need one.
