well, i started to town tonight and my harmoic balancer decided to come apart. it threw the belt and made a horrible sound cuz the water pump pully and the balancer were hitting each other. ill be rebuilding soon so are there any upgrade options? any advice on replacing it? am i gonna have to take the radiator out and everything? any advice?

You will probably need to pull the radiator.
The damper is just pressed on the crank, so just pull it right off.
Heat the new damper in the oven, and it will allmost slip on.

You can have your damper rebuilt at the following.

Damperdoctor, or Damper Dudes, I am sure, but I believe they are one and the same. They are both located in Redding, CA . Do a web searh for their site.

They shipped a couple of day late and to the wrong address, plus the timing mark was not correctly placed on the damper I purchased from them. It cost about $80 with shipping to and fro.
