Seasons greetings to all.

Some of you may be familiar with our work and cars (PP&R), we are located in Sydney Australia and LOVE Slant 6's. Here's a sneak-peak at a car we are building now for a customer. It's running a completely fabricated intake, exhaust, intercooler and Valve Cover. It's not going to be a horsepower monster as the customers requirements are for a torquey cruiser that can fry most V8's when it wants to ! :) Checkout some pics here : http://www.pentastarparts.com.au/classic/sv1.html. I will try and post more when I can. Take care...

Btw : We now stock straight cut gear drives for Slant 6 engines. We will also be releasing a long-runner 4-Barrell alloy intake for Slant 6 engines shortly. They are approx 4 inches shorter than a HyperPak, I hope to have them available by March 2008 !

Nice Ramond, that looks like that will be agreat setup.

I also was wandering what ever happened to your car after the last round of posting over at Your site. Did it get put on the back burner till a latter date? You just quite posting any results right when things where starting to get interesting. I probably just missed any info you might of offered.

And yes, thanks for posting your work over hear. You and many of the others over there do some very cool work with the slant six. ALways great to see what your upto.

Jess

Did you work out the issues with the Hemi-6 Hurricane intake?

Looking forward to seeing the new manifold. Please post in this forum as soon as you have it ready.

Got any preview pictures of that new long runner for us? I would imagine that a slightly shorter intake might help the issues of fuel puddles. Is it going to be heated in any way?

Thanks, & Merry Christmas.

-Mac

Looks quite impressive.

Will the new intake have any provisions for EFI? I may want to try dyno testing a couple intakes against the reworked Clifford currently on my Dart, as I suspect there's designs out there that will do better.

Isn't MPI ( multipoint injection ) a type of EFI or does MPI mean something different?

That is correct, however the 4-bbl. intake manifold mentioned above is not the EFI intake this thread is about.

That is pretty cool. That engine should fry most standard v-8's in a highway pull. Suprise, suprise! Thanks for including the photos. The intake manifold is especially neat. I assume that is an air to air intercooler sitting up on the fender. How did you size it? Can you give us any specs on it? Thanks.
Sam

An air to air intercooler needs to be mounted in the open where air can travel through much like a radiator. Mounting it on the fender would be a horrible idea (not to mention the solid 'face'. There are no fins/plates for the air to travel around). On the other hand an air to water intercooler can be mounted pretty much anywhere.

That being said, it has to be a air to water intercooler.

very nice project.

About the intercooler, I think it's air to air too... :? :? maybe the pipe on the front is for some sort of forced air circulation around the core?
