Hey guys , i am getting ready to change the rear axle pinion
seal on the 71/4.
I read how to measure the preload, remove the tight nut,
pull the yoke with bolt type puller.
My question is how to get the yoke back on?
Hammer part way then use nut on threaded part to
screw in yoke?
Is yoke easy to slide back in on the splines?

thanks any advice really helpful

The yoke should slide back on far enough that you can seat it when you torque the nut.
