Spoke with Seymour yesterday. The newsletter was going to be printed last night and mailed hopefully today. We should start seeing them the first part of the week.

I think he said was like 32 pages or something....

Anybody not receiving one needs to get their $10 in to Seymour so you dont miss out!

Seymour Pederson
c/o Slant Six Racing News
2513 Princeton Ct.
St. Louis Park, MN 55416

Just send him a check for $10 and that gets you signed up for the whole year. If he has some older issues lying around he will probably send you one or two of those.

Nick - Pay attention to Ron Parker's street championship. Your car would fit nicely into this and you are very close to 2-3 races. There will be some nice prizes!

Thanks for the update Tom.

I can hardly wait! I'll have my Gerber ready for those staples!

By the time mine gets to Germany, then eventually gets boxed up and sent to Iraq you all should be done with Vegas and on to the next race!

Speaking of $10 to Seymour... if the newsletter is up to 32 pages sent out 4 times a year... That's quite a bit of printing and mailing....

Maybe I'll send $20 next time...

I wish I was there getting a car ready to race with you all!

Have fun and keep us Internet Junkies informed!

Post subject:  Waiting?

OK, it's 7:50AM, I am standing beside my mail box waiting for the mail so I can get my newsletter!!! The mail doesn't go until 2:00PM but that's Ok, I can wait. Oh I better run back to the house and get my boots, they are calling for 12 inches of snow!

Why do all on my neighbors look at me so funny when they drive by me standing by my mailbox. Boy they sure are weird?

Soooo.....? What good stuff is in the newsletter? Wait, don't tell me. I want it to be a surprise.

My wife is back in Georgia visiting friends now, so I won't get the newsletter until well into the season. Maybe I'll get two at once and go into SSRN Overload!

I sent Seymour some dough and a note asking him to send some newsletters to the kids back in Georgia. They really want to race the Duster.

Anyone want to temporarily adopt 2 or more very enthusiastic teenagers and a Slant 6 Duster race car project? I'm looking for someone to sign a 2 year lease. :D

Rob,
If I were closer, I would do it, but I think I'm about 10 miles too far away.

Hey Charrlie,
More like a few hundred too far, unfortunately. Are you still planning on trying to make one race this season?

How are your projects coming along? Kendall and A.J. were searching the internet the other day for Slant 6 performance stuff. They sent me an email saying, "There's a guy that put a turbo on a 170 and got it into the 13s!!!" I emailed them back and said, "Yeah that was the Charlie's Angel Barracuda guy we raced with at Paradise." You're officially a celebrity in their eyes now. :D
