Post subject:  Another new motor! Thanks Doug, Jim & John Cox, and....

Although I have just joined this forum, I've been following the many postings and researching old archives located in the "search" on valve sizes, cam durations, head porting ,etc. over the past few years. As a result, I hooked up with the Cox brothers in Ohio to perform their magic on my slant head and get a few other goodies for the motor as well. After talking to Jim Cox the other day, he told me he should have it completed & back to me within a couple of weeks. (Pics to follow when I figure out how to post them.)

I just wanted to thank the many people on this forum like Doug Dutra, Chad, Dart270, Slantzilla, Dschumers and the countless others for their advice /knowledge given to others that made this motor possible for me. The search feature and all of the posts within it are extremely valuable if you want to build a slant.

Special thanks goes out to Jim & John Cox for going the extra mile on this project. Though it's been a long, long journey I believe it will be worth the wait. Stay tuned for updates
