This series relies on the racers themselves putting in the effort to co-ordinate the races. If you want a race in a certain area or event then contact the promoter and discuss it with them. Find out dates, times, purse/entry fee, and if they are willing to run us in our own race. Then give Seymour a call and fill him in on what you find out. If it falls on an open weekend and does not conflict with an existing or established race then there should not be any problems.

Most promoters do not want to put up any $$$ without some kind of guarentee that they will get it back in entry fees. I myself put up the purse at Farmington and that is why the slant race is free entry. Bristol puts up about 1/2 of the purse and I put in the rest and that is why Bristol has a seperate entry fee for the slant race.

If you guys want races in certain places then it is going to take a little effort on your part to make them happen. Give them a call and see what you can come up with.

It looks like I'll need to count on those races to get anywhere this season. My car won't really shine on an 1/8 mile track :(

Looks like I need to start getting organized now if I really want to compete. I haven't even installed the new motor or rear end! Anyhow, I guess we're just lucky that the races are on the same island as us.

See you at the track

I would be lying if I said I had time to reorganize the Pittsburgh race this year, but I'll be looking at what it takes hopefully next year (2006) if life allows. I'll be at a couple of test and tune sessions at the Pittsburgh track this summer, and I'll see what I can find about getting the race back or alternate track/promoter choices.

It is my understanding that the promoter pulled the show. Not sure if the track plans another Mopar event or not.
