so it is easy for me to find out this for my self but you all know and i dont.
on my 74 duster my hazards are on for 5 secunds and off for a flash and on for ever off for a tic is this my hazard warning flasher? if so what is the diffrence betwene hazard and turn signas flasher so i dont end up replacing bolth. thanks

The hazard flasher is the logical place to start. It's in a different location under the dash. The easiest way to find it is to turn on the flashers, get under the dash and start homing in on the "tick, tick, tick" sound!
