Plotting out a swap to an A-500. Was the reproduction transmission adapter ever put into productions or am I going to have to search for an original set?

AREngineering aka andyf made a small run of them, I know Lou bought one and there were pictures posted of it on this board so you might wanna try searching by author of dart270 or andyf and the word plate, I'm sure you'll get some hits.

I thought I remember hearing about an australian company making one as well but I could be wrong on that

Thanks guys!

Eric- well, what I am trying to do is put together a set-up for maximum fuel efficiency. I ended up selling the roadrunner ( :( ) mainly because the doors were to long to allow me to get out of it in modern parking lots. I sold it and used the proceeds touy a little 74 Dodge shorty van. Right now the van has a 350/727 but I want to eventually replace it with a 225/a500 combination. 727s are way heavy and use too much horsepower to turn. I'm going for light weight, small parasitic drain, and low end torque. Thanks for the offer though.
