Plotting out a swap to an A-500. Was the reproduction transmission adapter ever put into productions or am I going to have to search for an original set?

I thought I remember hearing about an australian company making one as well but I could be wrong on that

Eric- well, what I am trying to do is put together a set-up for maximum fuel efficiency. I ended up selling the roadrunner ( ) mainly because the doors were to long to allow me to get out of it in modern parking lots. I sold it and used the proceeds touy a little 74 Dodge shorty van. Right now the van has a 350/727 but I want to eventually replace it with a 225/a500 combination. 727s are way heavy and use too much horsepower to turn. I'm going for light weight, small parasitic drain, and low end torque. Thanks for the offer though.
