Can you make A manual valve body out of A 904 valve body. If so how? Do you still need the kick down? |

charlie, can this be done on a 63 pushbutton? i ask because i have the ss 2bl and no kickdown yet. manual shifting a pushbutton sounds cool(long as i dont miss a button!!).........steve |

Yes it can. I have a manual valve body in my PB trans in my 66 Cuda (not the original trans). The same company, listed about, has manual valve body kits, and complete manual valve bodies for the PB trans. I would think manually shifting a PB with the buttons on the left side of the dash, would be a pain in the tookis. I have my buttons installed in a floor console. |
