Okay so I've replanned the electronic ignition on my girl's car, deciding to do the HEI conversion instead of messing with boxes and all that stuff. Looks like I'll need an OEM Mopar elec. distributor, a new coil (probably the lower voltage of the Mallory Promaster series), and the HEI module (gonna go with the Pertronix Flame Thrower module). Seems pretty straightforward, but I noticed that the module must be grounded. My guess would be that the best way to do this would be to just mount it directly onto a spot on the inner fender that's been sanded clean, and apply some dielectric grease around it to keep out moisture and keep any rust from forming. Sound like a winner?

That's pretty much how mine is mounted, and it works well.
