I kind of like the white walls....looks good with the dog dish caps. Is that a Holley 2300? Looks like a Motorcraft 2bbl. You need to give me some tips on spray can painting...my Satellite needs a new paint job! |

they holley 2300 was a carb that i bought off of some guy on ebay.. it's hard to tune that bad boy, also considering that i'm pretty much a beginer at this, it was a PITA to adjust it properly..... spray can painting is tricky, i suggest getting a color like high gloss black, stay away from metal flake.. my car is suppose to be a blue metal flake in body shop paint, but it doesn't spray on very well unless you really layer it on, and then it might run, so it's really hard to do it takes 8 cans to do a car, this includes door jams. if you get any drips, then just sand them down with 800 grit until smoothe, then re-spray.. it's a good way to practice, or if you know anyone who likes to tag, then i suggest you get tips from them too... pretty good article. -- http://www.paintscratch.com/spraycan.htm |
