Do the bolts that hold the head down go into any water jackets? Is it any different if its an aluminum slant 6?

All of the head bolt holes are blind. Why do you ask?

I never thought to check them when I assembled my engine last week. I was hoping they were blind. Then I found out the intake/exhaust studs are into water so I became conserned

Just checking:

You have the correct special head gasket and rear main seal for your aluminum engine, right?
