Where is the oil pressure port on an aluminum slant so I can hook up a oil pressure gauge to the engine? I see a plugged hole on the passengers side near the back of the engine but I cant get the plug to budge. Can you hook it up at the rear of the oil pump?

Yes, you can remove the oil pressure sender from the rear of the oil pump and put your gauge there. Don't believe the aluminum block has a port at the rear of the oil gallery like the cast iron block does. The plug you see (kinda tucked betwen two cylinders) is probably the block water drain.

So remove the large 3/4 " bolt (approx) from the back of the oil pump that faces the fire wall and attach a few reducers to get my oil pressure line put in...correct?
What is the "oil pressure sender"? Is that the large bolt?

The oil pressure sender is a switch with a single terminal at the end of it, which screws into the hole currently occupied by that ¾" bolt you're talking about. It tells the "OIL" light on the dash when to turn on and when to turn off. New pumps ship with the bolt, it's up to you to supply the sender.

But yes, that's the right place.

Oil pressure sender (or "oil pressure switch") NAPA Echlin OPS6451 or Standard-BlueStreak PS16 looks like this:
