Post subject:  Is there something wrong with SlantSix.org???

Hi,

I selected the option of automatically log in in every visit, but now all the time I visit the site asks for my username and password. Also, I am not receiving all the emails advising me of new posts in the topics I am watching.

I noticed that instead of the "normal" address of http://slantsix.org, it takes me to the "technical" http://64.202.163.237. Is there something wrong with the site, or is it just me?

Just a question.

Ed.

slantsix.org is still undergoing the change to the new server. There will be some bumps and jostles as things get up to speed. I imagine Chuck is aware of the problem and is working on it.

No it wasn't just you. There was an issue switching the domain from the old server to the new, which then messed up your ID cookie. Chuck fixed it and you should be just fine and happy from now on. All hail Chuck!
