There are two vacuum hoses running through a grommet in the firewall near the A/C bulkhead connectors. I understand they come off the heater control panel, and one of them goes to the vacuum diverter canister and one goes to the heater control valve? One of my hoses has a green tracer stripe. Where does it go?

You really need a factory service manual.

There's no such thing as a "vacuum diverter cannister" -- what are you calling this?
