Did all 1920s have the spring in between the pump and metering body. I have taken apart a total of 10 of these and none have had one yet? Is there somewhere I could get these from? |

1964 and later 1920 carbs have a spring surrounding the pump stem, fitting into a well in the carburetor main casting. 1962-1963 1920 carbs have a spring between the stem cap and the stem. Neither type has a spring between the accel pump diaphragm and the metering block. |

I have never actually seen one. Ive read some old posts which talk about them. What made me think there could have been one is that there are two small nipples sticking out of the pump well in the center. |
