I have a 3.21 SG out of an Aspen or Volare', I can't remeber but either way I think it's a B body and I am considering putting Mustang Wheels on this since they seem to have the correct offset. BTW I also did the disc brake boogie on the front so I have matching LBP on all fours. 1974 Samp. Anyway does anyone know if the late model Mustang wheels are a direct bolt up deal? I read somewhere the centering hole is too small and some machining is required. Also if this is the case where can I find the specs on these measurements? My son's car BTW and he wants the Mustang Bullit wheels which look like Cragar SS. There seems to be a few on the used market but I don't want to buy unless I'm sure I can make it work.

Aspen/Volaré = F-body. Spring perches will need to be moved to work correctly in your Scamp.

Wheel bolt circle is 4-1/2", yes -- just make sure the centre hub hole is compatible and you should be fine.

Already put it in and yes we did the spring perch move. Cut off and welded new ones on. Shortened driveshaft as well. Had a 7 1/4 originally. 3.21 is an 8 1/4. Already in the car and working. Thanks, just wondering where to find the exact requirments in writing for the Mustang centering hole.

Some of this you can do yourself; measure the centering lug on your axle shafts (or preferably a steel rim) with a vernier caliper, then find a Ford forum and post a Q in the wheels section. Im sure some techie will know that dimension if you look hard enough.

You might also try TireRack.com. I think they have a pretty good reference chart or maybe a FAQ section. It's been awhile.

Lou Madsen had posted something about this awhile back also. Try a search here on Ford wheels or check Lou's posts. He addressed this very issue with a work around of some sort if I remember right.
