Mayber rubber isn't the right name, and it's probably some sort of 2-part urethane with catalyst. Regardless, I need to cast a few small "rubber" parts. Anyone know much about this? Jerry |

2-part urethane. That's how Gary Goers got started. This book goes into very fine detail on how to do it right. |

Sorry, but who is Gary Goers? I'm sure I should know who he is. Jerry |

74 sport not sure if this is what you are looking for, but .... in my slot car racing days, I used to cast part from resin by a company call alumilite. I used 2 part liquid latex to make a rubber mold. then mixed the 2 part resin and pour in mols to make part...resin harden in 3 minutes.. since I have a hard time getting front turn signal lense for my 73 dart, I decided to try duplicating from my good original lense with this stuff. here is a web site of the product....Jerry http://www.alumilite.com/line.cfm |

Thanks for replies. Great stuff found on the Alumilite web site. Think that will serve my purpose. If so, I'll show you what I am working on. Jerry |
