Summit did an excellent job getting the cable to me.... Awesome service! The instructions included from Lokar are dismal at best. I think the bracket that connects to the tailshaft is pretty straightforward, but at the carb end I'm not "getting it"
From the tailshaft, the cable turns 180 degrees & goes up to the engine compartment. Is the cable supposed to then do another 180 from in front of the carb position to come back to the linkage? Do I need to fabricate a bracket for the carb end?
Any info is greatly appreciated, and if anybody had a pic or two, I'd be very grateful!
If a bracket is needed, I'm thinking about fabricating an integrated bracket/EGR cover/spring return plate out of aluminum to handle all the cables & bracketry.... I've already done an EGR cover/spring return & polished it.... Looks great, but I want the Lokar setup & Super Six stuff to be a real clean install....
