Are you sure you're positive to the module is there when you're in the 'Start' position? Sometimes the ignition wire goes dead then.

I have an 82 D150 with the lean burn system. The only thing I have left of the system is the dist. and computer. I've changed the coil to an aftermarket coil (Promaster) and it worked fine. I finally deside to do the full Hei swap and get rid of the computer and dist. I hooked up all the wiring from the coil to the control module to the eletronic dist. No spark. OK, I change out the pickup coil in the dist and still no spark. I go and have the control module checked out and its bad. Get a new one and had it checked before I left the store and it was good. Hooked the new module up and still no spark! Did check to see conections were good pos & neg going into module good. No pos & neg electricity coming out of module. Could someone tell me what I'm missing or what is going on? |

When the ignition is in the on position I have power going into the hei control module. |
