Post subject:  Redding, Calif. Slant6 Race Oct.15-16
We had such a good turnout in April at the Redding drag strip, the track organizers' are offering another meet on October, 15-16. This meet will feature not only the slant6 cars, but inliners and the flathead group. We will have our own lanes, pit area and much fewer cars that the popular Cool April Nights event. The track will have all new surfacing in July. SLANTOSIS, MOPARDUSTER...Try to make this event. We need new slant6 racers so try to finish up your projects by then. There will be $50.00 available for each new slant6 racer that just shows up and makes one time run. Lets try to continue to make these West Coast events successful. We had a fun time at the Redding / Kool April Nites race, it was fun to see 3 Slant cars in the final rounds!

My rear differential was busted or I'd have been there. This is great news. Now I don't have to wait 'till next year. I got the 3.73 trac-loc in now. :lol:
