The cat's out of the bag, I now own a Corvette in addition to my two beloved Darts. After spending several months on the Corvette Forum, and learning a great deal of valuable information, I still find the best gearheads right here. Yes, I still have my Darts, and no, I am not giving them up. My wife, the sweetie, likes them all, and encourages my "toy" cars. I think for basic, hard core auto advice, you can't beat slantsix.org!

Well, we really know who the vette is for anyway! Maybe she will let you drive it on the weekends.

I must have missed your threads on your T-5 install in the Dart? I have my T-5 and a later bellhousing but thats as far as I've gotten. Don

Slant6rat, I think you are right about the Corvette! I told her the great thing about this car was that she could still drive it if I croak first. She didn;t seem to think that was very funny though.

Do a search on the t-5 install, and you will find the posts from about two years ago. DArt270 and I were doing this at the same time. Contact Red at Mcleod clutch, and see if their modular bellhousing is done yet for the slant. He told me last year that he expected it to be done by the first of this year. I would simply go with their set up if it is. They can provide you with clutch disk, and throwout bearing set up as well.

I joined a few other sites for my 1971 Chevy pickup and lots of people look at posts, but don't respond for the most part. Here, people jump at the chance to help. Even though the dart is gone, I am always reading here and I don't intend on stopping.
