where can i get some new brake drums for my 70 val with 9" brakes???

i checked all the local pepboys, autozone blah blah

price around $66 or so

any place i can get the possibly cheaper???

www.rockauto.com has new premium Raybestos finned drums for $54/ea, or off-brand cheapies (probably Chinese) for $39.

Dan I think he was responding to VDART's post asking him how many he wanted.

Double check on how much shipping is even if you found them cheaper online because I have a feeling that will probably even out hte cost of online vs. local.

Can't you find a junkyard in LA that has these drums? They are a dime a dozen in the yards up here ... for the price of one or two new ones you can get 4 used and have them turned. When you buy the warranty on them just make sure they mark it on the outside so when you get them cut, if they are below specs, they can still be returned. Just another alternative....
