I was thinking of painting/coating my offy 2 x 1 manifold red. But have never had luck with aluminum manifolds and painting. Will powder coating hold up? Has anyone done this? |

I used duplicolor brand hi temp red paint on my clifford mainfold and the entire engine. I looks great and has held up perfectly |

Slantosis - Did you use a primer or sealer on the intake? Or any other special prep work? |

I had a buddy spray hi-build epoxy primer before painting and it was remarkable how much it smoothed the rough casting surfaces. Final surface always reflects the quality of prep work. |
