I was thinking of painting/coating my offy 2 x 1 manifold red. But have never had luck with aluminum manifolds and painting. Will powder coating hold up? Has anyone done this?

Too many people who were born on third base actually believe they've hit a triple.

I used duplicolor brand hi temp red paint on my clifford mainfold and the entire engine. I looks great and has held up perfectly

Did you use a primer or sealer on the intake? Or any other special prep
work?

I had a buddy spray hi-build epoxy primer before painting and it was remarkable how much it smoothed the rough casting surfaces. Final surface always reflects the quality of prep work.
