Yesterday i was out galavanting around the forest in 4x4. When i got back on the pavement i still had the hubs and four high locked in. Around corners i noticed the inner tire would chirp. Is this normal or do i have a locker or something in my front diff?

It's normal for the inner rear tire to chirp under these circumstances.

When turning, the front 2 tires travel a longer distance than the rear 2 tires. The chirp is a relieving of the pressure/tension thats building up in the drivetrain. Since the rear inside tire in a turn with a pickup truck (empty) has the least amount of weight on it, that's the path of least resistance.

If it's a full time 4x4, take it out of Hi Loc on pavment. Leaving it in Loc could blow the T-case. If it's a part time 4x4, take it out of 4wd (or unlock the hubs, or both) on pavement to avoid the same results.
