Well, the insurance people settled my claim on the 66 Dart a while back. It's all repairable, technically... but I'm not going down that road for now.

Everything I've done for the 66 is going to be transplanted into a 64 Dart GT convertible that I took delivery of today. The cost? 1 set of 4 14" lbp Ralley rims. 8) Admittedly, the Dart is only a rolling shell, with the original suspension under it... but it's almost entirely rust free, with only minimal body dings. Even has an extra hood, how convenient. Anyone have a convertible top they don't need? (Just the frame, if you please)

Since not everyone is on broadband, I'll just put the url's for a few pics.

So the current build plan rolls out as follows:

76 Duster Disk brake conversion
LBP conversion
Late model Master cylinder conversion
A833-OD trans
Long rod 225, MP-EFI
225/50R16 Dunlops, on Centerline wheels (reusing the ones off my 66)
Digital Dash (Need to make a new housing for it, but will reuse the one from the 66)
Addco Front & Rear swaybars
Subframe connectors
.920 Torsion bars
KYB shocks
98 Sebring Convertible Seats

I'm not to worried about the the cloth portion of the top... I need to find a good frame first.

Sounds like you got a good plan, you won't be needing your feline good luck charm back that came with the duster hull do ya? I mean it might come in handy when someone asks "Ya got a dead cat in there?"

Hope the Fduster $$$ will go toward your transplant. Look forward to seeing some updates.

Hey, sorry, I know it's a slant six forum, but I'm a big B body nut. Where'd you get the '70 Charger? What you gonna do with it? Just curious... :D

Hey Brett,

I have a '64 Valiant convertible that has the frame structure. Would that work? I bought the car years ago hoping to fix it up, but the body is so rough that it really is better off as a parts car. I've finally come to my senses about my abilities and time / resources available. The car is stored in Tucson.
