Hi all there !. I'm new in that forum so i send my greetings to all people here

I'm from Argentina, i've a 1979 Dodge Coronado. I'm trying to know more about the 1920 1 BBL Holley Carb so it's installed on my car.

I've the carb completely overhauled since i'm going to get a carb-kit and do a re-make of it, changing gaskets, accel pump, etc . Ñ( it ran very scrap before i removed it ).

I'm searching for sources about the 1920 1BBL carb, as service manuals, since it's a very old ( but good) carb and here is near impossible to be able to get one, neither used or new. it's very obscure information about this kind of carb, ( the 1BBL, for example the 2BBL 2300 is well-known around the world ).

So i ask to you guys...... if you have any material about this carb, i'll be very happy.. My personal e-mail is: glwrba@yahoo.com.ar

Many thanx to you, and long life to the SL6 !!!

You want to talk to the guy that goes by:

argentina-slantsixer

He knows lots about the carb and is not half way across the earth from you. I recall him staying that the argentina model 1920 is different than the U.S. model.

Some times it takes a day for him to notice a post. I suggest you search for any recent reply by that name and then send him a PM with your contact information.

Good luck and welcome.

Hey SL6ram... takes me long to see a post here cuz I'm not getting my muthaf*** "reply to topic XXXXX" e-mails... :) anyways, you're absolutely right, argentinian 1920 is about the same as american ones, but we had a richer-more cfm version revisited series 1922 that were only produced down here. Great carb, it has piston type accel pump lever, larger venturis, etc. We called that the "Cuba Grande" (Big fuel bowl) cuz it had front hung float and larger fuel bowl (duh, yeah, buddy, that's rite) the fuel inlet is on the front of the carb, right on the fuel bowl cover instead of in the right side of the carb's body.

GWRBA, podés escribirme a dodgecoronado@jicaino.com.ar por cualquier cosa relacionada con el holley 1922. El modelo original del coronado 79 es Argelite RX-7015-A.
