Can anyone look up steering worm gear part number 2267454 and tell me what the steering ratio is? (26:1,24:1 or 20:1????????) Thanks |

24:1 gives you eighty-three turns of the steering wheel from full left to full right lock (OK, it's 5-3/4 turns, it just seems like 83.) 20:1 gives you 4-1/2 turns lock to lock, and is (in my opinion) perfect. 16:1 gives you 3-1/2 turns lock to lock, but is VERY heavy/stiff. |

thanks, one more question... how do you know which on you have? I see he has a part number but where is the number and on what part exactly? |

no idea where the part number is, it was on ebay with a part number... (original box) Of course I couldn't find out what ratio it was until just after I posted...... ![]() |

Topless, As Dan said, turn your wheel all the way to the left stop, then count the revolutions to reach the right stop. Jerry |

Yes they still make them, but the are illegal in most places for usage on a street driven vehicule. Something about loosing control if your hand slips. Of course they are availale in your local tractor/farmer supply store... |
