Anyone out there know where I can find the flex plate adapter that's needed to allow a later model ( after '68 and up ) crankshaft flange to mate with the early model ( '67 and earlier ) small nosed torque converter?

Thanx,

Tim

Torqueflite Patty has the adaptor ring you need. It's not a flex plate adaptor, per se, it's a 1/8" annular ring to convert the larger late-type crank bore to mate properly with the smaller early-type torque converter nose.

it's like a manual trans clutch assy pilot bearing. If you have access to a lathe, brass/bronze stock and you have a 1.2 machinist abilities in a scale from 1 to 10, you can do it yourself. Just take the inner crank diameter, the outter converter nose diameter and you're set.

Thanks a bunch for the tip! I'll look up Patty on the internet and get that part ordered.

Thanks again
