my car has 2.76 gears in the rear...mine is a 3 on3 manual I found a dart that has an auto trans... the owner says I can get the rear for free what gears came with auto trans 3.23? |

Most all stick shift cars came with 3.23, automatics with 2.76. Sounds like someone put a replacement axle in your car, from an automatic. Things gotta be bog-slow off the line, but I bet you get great highway mileage. |

Right, 2.76 behind autos with slant-6 started in '68. 2.93 from '62 through '67, 3.23 from '60-'62. All of those were standard ratios; special orders were available.
