hey can anybody tell me if a solid alluminum intake manifold is good for a super six motor and what would this manifold perform they tell me it will give good horse power and my air mixture would be good i dont know much but would like some help thanks guys

Not sure what you mean by a "solid aluminum" intake manifold. I'm guessing you might be talking about This auction. This is certainly a nice quality casting, and it is lighter than the iron manifold and less likely to crack or leak than the EB-welded alumninum manifold, but beyond that, there's no real reason to prefer this manifold to the factory 2bbl intake. It, like so many other parts that entered the Mopar Performance catalogue in the '80s - '90s, wasn't the better-than-stock equipment it was claimed to be (Thanks, Larry Sheppard! Not!)
