Hey folks, I gave Meril Bruner a substantial deposit this weekend for the fiberglass hoods and they are in the process of making them. Hopefully I'll have them at N. Wilkesboro, but may have to go pick them up at Meril's after that. Price will be $200 each. $15 discount for anyone picking up at my house or at the first place I get them (like Meril's or the NW race). At this point, I would like at least a $100 deposit each, or payment for the whole hood if that's simpler. I will work on finding out about shipping for you faraway folks, but meeting at a race or setting up a "Slant 6 network" dropoff would be best. Paypal is probably easiest, but MO or personal check works fine too. I am getting an extra made if anyone still wants one (sixinthehead?).  Thanks Lou, I'll do the "check's in the mail" thing asap. My computer has kicked a rod so I don't get to check the board every day. I'll be at the Nationals and Monster Mopar @St. Louis. Do you know if these hoods will be loose or in a box or wrapping of some sort? I don't forget a favor, I owe ya one !!!! RICK

Rick, The hoods will come to me with no packaging, but I can arrange for some sort of protection for transport. Thanks for the prompt response and sending the deposit. I think I can arrange to get them to St. Louis. Will keep you updated on that. Thanks, Lou |

I still have not heard from Doug or sixty4dartgt as to whether they are sending deposits. If I don't hear anything or receive anything by this weekend, I'm afraid I'll have to call Meril and tell him to drop the number of hoods by two. Sorry to be a hardass, but this is quite a bit of money I am fronting here. Thanks, Lou |

Thanks to everyone for getting me some $$ to cover initial deposit, and for those especially who paid in full! I will do my best to get the hoods transported to St. Louis even if I don't make it. I'll give updates as I get 'em... Lou |
