I'm getting ready to install a new exhaust manifold in my '72 Swinger, and noticed it has a threaded bung for an o2 sensor. Rather than just plug it, I figured I should just get an o2 sensor so I can someday hook up an A/F gauge. Will a stock $23 narrow band sensor for a '77 Aspen work with an aftermarket A/F gauge (like Autometer), or will I have to get a $90+ Autometer version? Just curious...

Yep, any 1-wire or 3 or 4 wire will work with the aftermarket gauges.

Sunpro makes a nice AF gauge for $25-30 and it works quite well. It is definitely worth it to help with tuning.

The sad thing is, I'm going to cut it up to make a rear manifold for Dutra Duals. But after everything I've read here about the critical operation of the flapper valve, I wanted to make sure I had a working unit before I bolt everything on.

Funny thing is, I thought this was a rare find, but earlier today I found a few vendors on Ebay selling the same manifolds. One was $115, but charged for shipping. Would've been $1 cheaper than what I paid (Bishop is a few blocks from me, so I had to pay taxes).

The new vendors were found on Ebay by using 225 Mopar or 225 Dodge as the search. Hope others can benefit from this!
