I have a 69 belvedere block that seized # 1 piston and will cleanup fine with a bore to 3.5 inches. the engine will be used exclusively for drag racing and will not be highly reved or stressed. this is to be used in my 75 dodge dart torqueflite car. raced in the 1/8 mile-if this were a standard shift, heavier car running 1/4 mile I probably would not consider this overbore as I believe the walls will be about .140 thick after boring-what do you think? thanks-jessie

Lots of the Slant racers run a 3.5 bore. Some have even gone 3.53.
