I keep hearing all this hype about Indianapolis in October. Can anyone give more detail? Like a specific date and location. Is there a plan to meet?

Yep, that's the one. I'm planning on getting there by Friday. Would be great to meet in person finally. :)

Indy is my closest/best chance for some end of season points. I've got plenty of time to prepare compared to other events, so I'm hoping to make it. I won't take my wife's scamp (it's our only reliable car), so the Aspen -MUST- be ready. I don't really want to tow, but I could run as-is if I tow.

Jim Cox offered that it was an 'easy' drive from columbus, so I might see about meeting and heading out with his convoy. I guess I'll need to call him.

I'm low budget this year, so I'd be looking to share a room or I'll be stuck sleeping in a tent or the back seat of my car again.

20 points! that shouldn't be impossible   :?

Well....I dont need the points.
I do have to be in Parker Az the following weekend.
I do have to put together the new motor after it comes back from the machine shop....and mebbe break it in.

The Valaint needs new rear tires and a serious going over before Oct anyway....

I signed a contract on the house Monday, so I am planning on being in Indy for sure. I also bought a bigger nitrous jet for my kit, so I'll either be in the 11's or buying new pistons. Don't really care which.

Congrats on the house sale, Big D. I vote for 11s over new pistons.

We wanted to take the Krylon car to this one, but it was also the weekend of the Hunnert Car Pileup.
