This'll be fun to watch. Sounds like a blast to me! Hope they have good pizza along the way...

That's pretty cool Robin went along. Maybe he'll get her into a car sometime??

It's awesome how Seymour drives his toad all over without a truck&trailer behind him for back up! You never see the "great" Boyd Coddington doing it. Even I get nervous over 100 miles out, that's as far as AAA will tow me without charge :D

Robin is pretty hard core, like her Dad.

I called Jim Cox tonight to talk about bellhousings and lo and behold, he was eating dinner with Seymour and Robin! Got to talk to S for a few minutes. Said his car has run in the 13s at every race so far and he's still tuning up the new motor. Hasn't skipped a beat yet with two races left.

Seymour said one of the fastest cars there, in the high 8s, is a Nova wagon with a turbo six!

He was psyched that his car is on the internet already - thanks for the link, Tom.

Maybe now Seymour will get Internet service, huh?

Glad to hear the car is flying. He was pretty unhappy that it was "only" running mid-14'd at St. Louis.

That's cool. Not many Mopars in that crowd. You go Seymour! He does us all proud.

He gets another mention at the bottom where they talk about a family affair.

Seymour is getting it done! Hope they give him a decent write up when it goes to press, I know he'll be fighting for a plug about slant six racing. We're extremely lucky he's part of our group.

Looks like you have to make a good recovery from a failure to get much mention. I can't argue that rebuilding a whole engine like that is something wild. What do you expect, it's a chevy

If they only counted the cost of fuel and repairs for the contest, Seymour would be MUCH higher in the standings.
