Post subject:  3-Speed Linkage bushings/grommets

I'm looking for a source for the rubber grommets and bushings that go on transmission end of the linkages.

I've called the dealer and checked year one and hemmings....

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Steve

Post subject:  bushing for linkage

about 3 years ago i ordered the automatic linkage bushings grommet
as the dealer calls it. i noticed only one parts person was willing
to look in the book for the part number to order it.
when i call in to different parts person they say no longer available.
Maybe try calling another dealer parts department.

so, would you happen to know the mopar number for these parts? It's on of the few parts in the factory manual that doesn't show a part number next to it.....

Thanks for the reply,

Steve

Call Greg Rairdon Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep: Parts Department at
(360) 653-2300
16610 Smokey Point Blvd
Arlington, WA 98223

If the part is listed in any factory parts book they have it and will look it up and if asked will even tell you which dealers in the country still stock the part NOS. These guys are a gold mine. Be aware though that only one guy knows the books so he may not be in the office when you call.

it turns out that they are no longer made..(duhh) but many dealer DO have them in stock.

The Bushings is 16-76-200 = .85 ea (SHEESH!)
The Grommet is 19-41-699 = $2.50 ea (very cool)

and I spoke with Mike at the Rairdon dealership in Washington, he was VERY helpfull
