Is there a solution to a leaky gas cap. When I make right turns or when the car gets hot (daily) gas leaks out around the cap and stains the side of my car. I've tried installing thicker gaskets on the cap to make it a tighter fit and it hasn't solved the problem yet. Any solutions would be appreciated.

Caleb

Try this from Layson's online catalog:

Same ol' Layson, full of laugh-and-a-half pricing. Think that price is "down" from the $300 or so he was originally charging.

"Internally converted" means he installed one of those replacement unleaded fuel nozzle restrictor/splash preventer plates intended for repair of '75-up unleaded cars that flunk inspection because the fuel filler's restrictor is broken or has been tampered with.

Thanks for you input, Dan, do you have any idea what it would take besides the parts and a welder (and some caution) to modify my filler as Layson does.
In addition, where would be the best place to get the part, off a '75 and up Mopar?
Thanks
