If I replaced my 904 with an A-500 trans, would I be able to use my pushbutton shifter in my 64 Dart? thanks, josh |

No. And an A500 won't fit your '64 without a great deal of sheetmetal work, crossmember work, etc. Also different driveshaft, need an adaptor plate to mate it to the engine, etc. |

FWIW, there is a guy on the Forwardlook website that has been working on an shifter adapter to use pushbuttons on late transmissions. |

Looks like that adapter sold already. I've had a few more requests for those adapters but I just can't bring myself to build them. They take a lot of time to make which drives the price up so high that most people can't afford them. |
