I am a newbie starting to work on a '60 /6. I would like to install an Offy 2x1 intake using two stock Carters . Any suggestions for modifying the auto choke linkage? Should I convert to an electric choke?
Thanks for your input.

Several options exist.

You can make a new choke shaft that extends all the way through both carburetors, starting with a stock 225 pushrod. Watch out for the accelerator pump, though.

Or, see this Thread on the topic.

And yes, I would use an electric choke kit number 1234 from CarbsOnly.

Thanks SlantSixDan!

That is pretty close to what I had in mind.
Thanks for the info on the electric choke.
